TweetHey, I'm Glen Allsopp and the main writer behind PluginID. In 2007 I was in a job I hated, doing college courses I had no interest in and running a company part-time. I was also quite shy and knew that I had to make a radical change in my life.
That change came when, at 18 years old, I left my family, friends and education behind and moved across the world to South Africa. I didn't know one single person in the country, so as you can imagine, I've learned a lot in the process. After 16 months in South Africa I'm now back in the UK, where I'm about to live somewhere else in Europe and do the whole thing again.
